Other issues of Nevis enjoying good philatelic interest include:
- A set of thirteen stamps released on June 23, 1980 that were stroked-out versions of Saint Kitts-Nevis issues (Scott #357 to #369). The ‘St. Christopher’ and ‘St. Anguilla’ inscriptions in the stamps were stroked-out leaving the ‘Nevis’ inscription. The set (Scott #100 to #112) catalogs for around $7 MNH and around $5 for used.
- A set of fourteen stamps released on February 5, 1981 showing Landmarks. The set (Scott #121 to #134) catalogs for around $8 MNH or used. The designs show Charlestown Pier, Court House and Library, New River Mill, Nelson Museum, Saint James Parrish Church, Nevis Lane, Zetland Plantation, Nisbet Plantation, Pinney’s Beach, Eva Wilkin’s Studio, Nevis at Dawn, Fort Charles Ruins, Old Bath House, and Nisbet’s Beach.
- A set of three stamps released on May 16, 1984 in the Tourism theme. The set (Scott #276 to #279) catalogs for around $2 MNH or used. The designs show Golden Rock Inn, Rest Haven Inn, Cliffdwellers Hotel, and Pinney’s Beach Hotel. During this timeframe, Nevis issued a number of sets in the Leaders of the World theme. The sets were sold in large quantities at a fraction of the face value to the philatelic market. Even so, the distinct Se-tenant Pairs with striking designs catalog for a good premium over regular issues from the period as the sets (Scott #190 to #223, #258 to #266, #285 to #322, #383 to #390, etc) enjoy good philatelic interest.
- A set of four stamps and a souvenir sheet released on August 22, 1994 showing Local Architecture. The set (Scott #867 to #870 and #871) catalogs for around $14 MNH or used. The designs show residence at Barnes Ghaut Village, house above grocery store in New castle, Treasury Building at Charlestown, house above supermarket at Charlestown, and apartment houses.
Counterstamped Spanish and French Colonial Coins were in use in Nevis prior to 1830 when sterling was established as the official currency. British West Indies Dollar became the standard currency in Nevis in 1935 followed by the East Caribbean Dollar.
