Thomas Gayner’s Markel (MKL) Investment Portfolio value
decreased from $8.40B to $8.30B this quarter. The portfolio continues to have
around 100 different positions although only around 30 are significantly large
(more than ~1% of the portfolio each). The top-five stakes are Berkshire
Hathaway (BRK.A), Alphabet (GOOG), Deere (DE), Home Depot (HD), and Brookfield
(BN).
