Following are the activity from the previous month:
  1. Initiated positions on Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Intel (INTC), Google (GOOG), Cardinal Health (CAH), and Pearson (PSO) with roughly 2% of our portfolio each.
  2. Wrote Sep 2010 17.5 Cash Covered Puts on NutriSystem Inc. (NTRI) at $1.70. The cash coverage requirement is about 2.4% of our total portfolio value.
The cash coverage requirements on the puts account for about 15% of our cash position. The cash position in our portfolio is still pretty high at around 50%. We will continue to use cash-covered puts spread-out over a period of time along with direct purchases to build the portfolio over time.
