Bought Asure (ASUR) Software

We purchased Asure Software at $1.3/share at the opening on Friday as per the allocation plan. Asure (previously Forgent) has managed to claw its way back by more than 50% following the announcement of the 4th quarter 2007 financial results. Even after the run up, Asure is trading for less than cash on hand. In an effort at redefinition, the company is transforming itself from primarily being an Intellectual Property (IP) monetizing business to a “Software as a Service” (SaaS) business in the workforce management area. To accelerate its entry into this growth area Asure acquired iEmployee, an “on-demand” workforce management software company on September 2007.
